Event types
The event hub should support both serious competition and casual community activity. Different players need different doors in.
- Tournaments for structured brackets and winners.
- Scrims for coordinated practice and team improvement.
- Community nights for low-pressure games and onboarding.
- Clip challenges for movement, parry, and style prompts.
Launch plan
For the first version, events can be manually curated. The site should not pretend there is a live calendar until the community has reliable dates.
- Post upcoming events with date, region, rules, and signup path.
- Archive winners and standout clips after events.
- Link mode and map guides when relevant.
- Use the redliner.net Discord for last-minute changes and check-ins.
Rules and trust
Clear rules prevent drama. Every event page should define eligibility, format, allowed platforms, reporting, and how disputes are handled.
- State format before signups open.
- Keep rule changes visible and dated.
- Require proof clips for disputed outcomes when needed.
- Do not gate general wiki content behind event signup.
